P4 Explore the Giant’s Causeway

This term, our P4 class have enjoyed fun and creative ways to learn about Northern Ireland, focusing on local places such as the Giant’s Causeway. We explored where we live and developed our understanding of the world around us. The children loved using tessellating hexagons to design and build their own Giant’s Causeway on our school grounds, bringing their learning to life in a practical way.

We also learned about the story of Finn McCool and had great fun acting it out together. The class have shown great enthusiasm and are excited to continue learning more about places in our local area.
